Cherly Hat Bands
Born and raised in the Eastern Agency of the Navajo Nation located in western New Mexico, Cherly began beading at the age of 19. Barely a year later she met our founder, Kevin O’Farrell while visiting Durango. He saw her talent as an artist. Known for her dramatic designs and play of color, she weaves beads and quills into hatbands that are both beautifully made as well as works of art. O’Farrell Hat Company has been carrying Cherly’s work since the late 1980’s.
