Junior's Hat Bands
Like many Native American silversmiths, Junior was first introduced to his craft by the elders in his community. As he honed his work with the guidance of very experienced silversmiths in the southwest, he found his calling. Both hand stampwork in very fine patterns, and his sculptural vision seen in silver animals is evocative both of a classic style of a creature in movement like his eagles in flight, and buffalo heads which appear poised to sweep the grasses they feed on.
