Wildcat Hat Bands
Navajo artist Wildcat is entirely self-taught. He found the key to his father’s toolbox more than 20 years ago and began fiddling with the silversmith tools he found there. After highschool, he worked for a coal mine as a processor. His job was to oversea the production of raw coal and prepare it to be shipped out. He spent many hours with one eye on the coal bins and the other on his drawing pad.
